The LEDs on the Z906 react to changes in the audio signal by turning on or off. When a change in the audio signal happens, for example, the volume is increased or decreased, the Decode/Effect, volume level, and channel indicators may illuminate and then turn back off five (5) seconds after the change in the audio signal is complete.
Other actions that can cause this include:
-
Changing the channel on your set-top box
-
Changing the input
-
Muting the speaker system
Some devices you connect to your Z906 can cause this behavior as well, depending on how they treat silence or low audio volume in a movie or music. Other devices may completely stop the signal stream. This can cause the Z906 LEDs to turn off and then back on again once the signal continues. This behavior is by design.
