We have an issue wherein the Check for firmware update button in the device settings does not open the firmware update tool on M1 Mac computers if Rosetta is not installed. The firmware update tool requires Rosetta to run on M1 Mac computers. While we address this issue, you can open the firmware update tool from /Library/ApplicationSupport/Logitech.localized/LogiOptionsPlus to check for and install firmware updates. When you open the tool, you’ll be prompted to install Rosetta. Please click install to open the tool.
We will be integrating the firmware update tool into Options+ in the future at which point, Rosetta will not be needed for installing firmware updates.
Important Notice: Logitech Presentation devices are now supported by Logi Options+ for a better experience. We highly recommend using Logi Options+ with your presentation remotes. We are here to assist you during this transition.
