If the video feed from MX Brio freezes during particularly advanced use cases (ex. when using multiple webcam feeds in OBS or performing advanced computing tasks while streaming video), this could be due to wireless interference coming from the computer USB-C ports.
How to solve this issue:
- Unplug and replug MX Brio
-
Try using another USB-C port on your computer
Ideally, the MX Brio cable should not be plugged in next to another port used for high-data transfer (ex. a hard drive).
-
Try using a USB hub instead of plugging directly into your computer
The USB-C interferences are coming from the laptop; connect using a powered 3.0 USB-hub, a dock, or a monitor which should help to avoid any interference impacting MX Brio video feed.
-
Try connecting MX Brio with a USB-A cable on the computer side
The USB-A ports are better shielded from interference. Try using a USB-A cable supporting the USB 3.0 standard.
