The battery percentage displayed on G HUB is an estimation, and might not accurately reflect the power left on the device. Since releasing the G733, we’ve improved our method of battery state estimation, but it requires the battery to be charged to its maximum capacity.
If your Logitech G733 Gaming Headset is showing an inaccurate charging percentage, this may be attributed to fluctuations in the battery's charge voltage, which can vary with the battery's age, ambient temperature and other variables. Logitech has implemented a solution in the G HUB software that delivers a more accurate display of the charging percentage during the battery's lifetime.
To benefit from this improvement, do the following:
- Update your G HUB software to the latest version to apply the battery fix.
- Allow the headset to charge until it reports 100% in the G HUB application so that it will reach its maximum voltage level. Fully charge your headset for several hours, allowing the battery to reach its maximum voltage level. This process helps calibrate the battery's charge indicator.
- Turn on the headset while it’s NOT in charge
- If the headset is initially on or below 99%, charge the headset until it shows a battery of 100%
NOTE: G HUB needs to be running during this process
From now on, battery percentage estimation while charging G733 will reflect the charge remaining more accurately. Every time the device reports as “fully charged”, the battery reading will readjust to match the battery’s maximum voltage.
- After charging, check the battery percentage displayed in the G HUB software.
- If the battery percentage displayed is not accurate, please restart the device.
Following these steps should result in a more accurate representation of the battery level. If the problem continues after these steps, please reach out to Logitech Support for additional guidance.
