If your wireless mouse has USB connection or pairing issues, try inserting the receiver directly into a USB port on your computer, checking the battery, and restarting your host device.
Check wireless receiver and connection
- Ensure the wireless receiver is fully inserted into a direct USB port on your computer.
- Avoid using USB hubs. Move the receiver to a different port to rule out port issues or interference.
- Check for wireless interference from other devices and try re-pairing using Logi Options+ or G HUB.
Check battery and Bluetooth connection
- Ensure your mouse is fully charged or has fresh batteries installed.
- Verify that Bluetooth pairing is active or toggle Bluetooth on your host device.
- Check for physical obstructions between your mouse and the wireless receiver or host device.
Restart your host device
- Restart your computer, phone, or tablet (for USB-C connections).
- If you use a USB hub, try connecting your mouse directly to the host device.
Check system permissions
- Windows: Look in Device Manager for warnings or an Unknown Device entry.
- macOS: Check USB accessory permissions in System Settings.
- iOS or Android: Allow the accessory to connect when prompted.
Reduce USB interference
- Disconnect unused USB devices.
- Move your mouse closer to the computer.
- If your product also uses Bluetooth, remove old or duplicate pairings from your device settings.
Update Logitech software and system
- Install or update Logi Options+ or G HUB.
- Reconnect your mouse after updating the software.
- Install any pending system updates on your computer or mobile device.
Reset the wireless receiver
- Unplug the wireless receiver from the USB port.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Reconnect the receiver to the USB port.
Test on another computer or phone
- If your mouse works on another device, the original computer may have a USB port or permission issue.
- If your mouse fails on all devices, the cable, receiver, or hardware may require attention.
Clean the USB ports
- Gently remove dust from the USB ports using a soft brush or compressed air.
- Avoid using metal tools while cleaning. Alternatively, use mild isopropyl alcohol to clean the USB connector on the cable.
