Before you install Actions Ring, you should backup your current Logi Options+ settings, export any Smart Actions you have created, and then uninstall Logi Options+. You'll then be ready to install the Early Access build (and re-import your Smart Actions). Use the following steps:

Step 1: BACKUP your settings

Since you’ll have to uninstall your current version of Logi Options+, we suggest you backup your settings and profile data so you can retrieve them later:

1. 1. In the device’s setting page make sure you have turned on the Automatic backup (requires LogiID login).
      
      This way, you’ll be able to retrieve all your device’s settings when or if you want to get out of the Early Access build.
   2. Export (to a .json file) each individual Smart Actions ― click on the three-dots menu on each in the Smart Actions MANAGE page. You’ll be able to import them after you install the Early Access build.

Step 2: UNINSTALL the old version

Uninstall the Logi Options+ version that you might have on your computer:

• MAC: In your Application folder, move the Logi Options+.app to the trash.
• WINDOWS: In the Control Panel, click on Uninstall a program, right-click on Logi Options+ in the list and select Uninstall.

Step 3: INSTALL the new version

To install the Early Access build:

1. 1. Use the link provided in the email you received, download it on your hard drive, unzip it if necessary.
   2. Run the installer application (or executable) and follow the onscreen instructions.
   3. When prompted, login with your LogiID. You can create one if you don’t have one already.
      The devices that are currently paired and connected to your computer should show up in the Logi Options+ home page.
   4. You will see the new Actions Ring feature in the top bar on the home screen. Click on the round icon (shown) to start the Actions Ring configuration.
      

Step 4: Import Smart Actions

Import the Smart Actions .json files you exported earlier to this version of Logi Options+.
