G933 Power/Charging Issue: Headset keeps switching on and off by itself (rebooting)

If your G933 keeps switching on and off by itself (rebooting), it may be due to the following:
  • Battery charge level is low/empty
  • Firmware needs to be updated
  • Faulty headset
Possible solutions:
  1. Charge the headset — make sure the headset battery has been charged to at least 3% or higher.
  2. Make sure that the firmware of the headset and the Logitech Gaming Software installed on your computer is up to date. 
    To check the version:
    1. Launch LGS.
    2. Click Settings (the gear icon in the lower right corner).

    3. Click the G933 tab.

    4. The Firmware version should be indicated. It also indicates if it is up to date and the last time an update was checked for.
    5. If a firmware update is needed, the Update button will not be grayed out.
  3. Use the headset without Logitech Gaming, LGS or G HUB installed on the computer. To uninstall Logitech Gaming, LGS or G HUB, follow these steps:
    1. Go to the Control Panel (click the Windows key, and type Control Panel).

    2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.

    3. Click Logitech Gaming Software then click Uninstall/Change. 
      NOTE: Programs are arranged alphabetically.

    4. G HUB will be uninstalled after you click Uninstall.

    5. For LGS, you will be prompted to confirm the uninstall. Click Yes.

    6. Click Finish.

  4. Use an analog (3.5mm cable) connection to check for a beeping sound on the headset.
  5. Re-connect the headset to the receiver. For reference, see: Pair the G933 gaming headset to the USB Wireless Mix Adapter
  6. Perform a hardware reset:
    1. Plug in the G933 to USB power.
    2. Remove the left side plate (on the mic side).
    3. Press and hold the hardware reset switch with a pin for two seconds, as shown below. Repeat the two-second press twice.

  7. Try to use the headset on another computer for further testing.
  8. If the above troubleshooting is not successful, the G933 will need to be replaced.
