Please please Logitech - add this feature. Working with a lot of displays and the lag in flow I always end up deactivating flow and hit the switch button on both devices. Doing this just from one - especially the keyboard would be awesome.

Using DuoLink should enable the behavior.

Care to explain how DuoLink is supposed to help Tim Red?

With it enabled the easy switch buttons still just swap the keyboard channel and not the mouse.

afaik DuoLink is just to have two functions on one mousebutton with additional "fn"-key.

LogiLaurie is there any further news on this feature request? without the feature the whole switching mechanism is broken. alternatively the switch function on the mouse could be programable on a different button on the mouse for it to be easier to switch instead of turning the mouse over every time to switch.

Hey Siddharth this standard answer "stay tuned" is not helping anyone. Get " the team " to come back with an action plan including a timeline for a fix, and communicate THAT to your customers.

I was mislead by the ads and was thinking that this is bulit in feature!

If you explain what kind of difficulties you are having implementing it maybe community will help you! Many IT people here.

Any updates on this topic? My company is planing to buy around 2.000 MX Combos but we stopped the project because this feature is missing. So any announcements regarding this topic?

    Regards,
    Joshua

Oh, come on man. You stopped a project because this feature is missing? I’m on our side here, but nobody’s gonna take that seriously.

I’m actually the CEO of Business Inc., and just sprinted to my secretary’s desk to stop them from ordering 1,000,000 MX Keys because this relatively minor feature is missing.

For me is not a minor feature, is the reason I bought this combo for $$$ instead of buying a KVM that would have provided the easy switch feature that MX Combo claims and doesn't provide for much less money. And probably not just for me or it wouldn't have filled 14 pages of people complaining here and many other requests on this community.

    I didn't say it's not affecting people. I'm here too, aren't I?

My point is, being hyperbolic isn't productive. Just be honest and say you'd find this feature to be useful and would make you more likely to buy Logi again in the future. Nobody is holding up a $400,000 peripheral order for a company because they have to push the swap buttons on their keyboard and mouse separately. We're trying to get support to help us, not make them blind from rolling their eyes too far.

Any kind of "real" response instead of copy-pasting the same few responses ad infinitum would be great...

Siddharth WHAT IS THE PROGRESS OF DEVELOPMENT TEAM?

And don't respond with:  "already passed the feedback along to the team." . We don't care.

Just tell us the progress of development team. Does it exist?

    Dear Logitech,

Flow is a poor excuse of a feature. It's lagging, sometimes not working, and also a great privacy issue for it to be used for work (it records keystrokes, sends clipboard content, etc) so we are not allowed to use it.

So to conclude, in order to still respect the users and be respected, you should take into account that you marketed the PAIR MX Master 3 with MX Keys, but it's not working as such. I am a programmer so I know it's a poor excuse to say it cannot be done, but rather explain that you don't want to prioritize it cause it's not bringing you new revenue. There's no such thing as "cannot be done" in software, and as everybody can see there are some solutions that simple users suggested in these threads.

I am considering to give up Logitech for good, as well as my 5000+ contacts. I will ask each and everyone of them to promote this idea further, if you think us users don't count. You can do the math of how much such propagation could translate in Logitech revenue.

    Best of luck!

This is what I'm looking for. Flow does not work for me since the other device is on a secured network and would not allow me to install flow (even the logitech option is not installed) Having this feature would just be an external sync between the keys and the mx master 3 for me. Hopefully after another year maybe?

This is a no brainer in terms of features! I often connect to KVM systems that do not support flow, its always 4 button presses to switch between devices now. +1 for an API option too.

I have a MX master mouse and thought it would be perfect with the MX keys.
    Perfect combo my ass!
Come on Logitech! How hard can it be?
Flow is not working in my use case since i got a wired computer and a laptop on wifi.
Why cant it send out two signals when you press the switch? one for mouse and one for keyboard?
Always been a huge fan og logitech but this is just plain stupid!
I really hope this will get solved somehow.

I've been using the MX keyboard and mouse for 2 years, never got flow to work properly. If I could switch the mouse at the same time as the keyboard with the physical button on the keyboard that would be ideal. flow not working

This is a 1 year+ feature request thread, and yet the product team is sleeping! Its a simple yet powerful user experience which Logi chooses to ignore? Excuse me the CX team?

Hi there - the point of spending a lot of money to buy the new keyboard and mouse combo was exactly for this.  If it is not going to be available with in 3 months please advise and I will return them both and replace with another brand.

Also if anyone knows of a brand that does this I would be grateful if you could pass on details.

Since Logitech has not responded to anyone on this thread past the usual "we will pass it along" response, I'm changing brands and trying this mouse. Similar to Logitech form but has the functionality desired to have the device switch button on top. Logitech please take note of how easy this can be.

Like many others, I was under impression that it will work without the flow (It does not work because of VPN etc). Why is it taking so long to get a proper answer is beyond me. Even if its "we are not going to implement that", just say so.

+1 year since the original post and 5 months since I first commented after buying the kit and realizing the feature is not included, and the answers are still "its not easy to implement", "we already passed the report to the team". What an awful customer service. Never buying Logitech again.

I really don't understand why this should be so difficult.

The Logitech Options software knows both products - the MX Keys and the MX Master 3. It's a custom piece of software for two pieces of your own hardware. So when I press an Easy Switch key on my MX Keys, why can't Options detect that and tell the Mouse to switch to the new channel too?

It boggles my mind that a corporation listed on the NASDAQ with a market cap of $12.4bn and over $2bn yearly revenue won't do that.

Please Logitech, give us that feature!

    Hi ingmar,

    Thanks for reaching out.

It is not possible to use one Easy-Switch button to at the same time change both your mouse and keyboard to a different computer/device.

We do understand that this is a feature that a lot of customers would like. If you are switching between Apple macOS and/or Microsoft Windows computers, we offer Flow. Flow allows you to control multiple computers with a Flow-enabled mouse. Flow automatically switches between computers by moving your cursor to the edge of the screen, and the keyboard follows.

In other cases where Flow is not applicable, one Easy-Switch button for both mouse and keyboard might look like a simple answer. However, we cannot guarantee this solution at the moment, as it is not easy to implement.

However, please stay tuned to the Logitech website for any updates as we have already passed the feedback along to the team.

    Regards,

    Sneha D
