I need that feature, or at least place the easy-switch button not under the mouse.. or make it mappable on other buttons..

I use those for my work and personnal computer, so no Flow..

We don't care about "Anything else" to help us.Your team 'passed' the suggestion about two years and nothing happens. You'd better tell us what's the technical response of the developers, the progress or an estimated time of arrival .

well at least we have a response and Logitech recognise the overwhelming need for this feature . Thank you Siddharth

I'm same as pretty every other response as my work laptop is locked down and on a VPN so Flow won't work.

C'mon dev's got on with it...

This is the exact reason I bought the MX key and then the Triathlon mouse. THAT'S YOUR SELLING POINT! At least I thought that three buttons on the side are rendered for the easy switch between the three devices I connected so its less hassle to switch between them but no only one button (at least it's not on the bottom of the device) rendered for that and the other is there just to add some other function I absolutely no need but not the device switch. Why? That thing is your selling point! The only reason I bought it and not a Razer Hunterkiller whatever rgb monster with a complete Numpad on each side. Please make the device switch at least mappable. Don't think it's rocket science. In fact, as I see someone who starts with 0 knowledge and support of your software already did it. Would be happier to use an official solution rather than learn how to hack it...
Keyboard and mouse switch together would be amazing, even better.
The Flow is good but it's just super hard to achieve with Logi Options (there are literally 2-3 software options that can achieve the same with any mouse for $25... I spent 10X more on your company to see it's just space technology for you). You should seriously need to think about system compatibility. Company laptop with an old mac Mojave can't connect with windows 10 through Flow as the driver (probably) not the same version. Your solution was? Removed the download option for the old drivers for mac os 10.14 from the page to download.... you know that's not a solution and thanks for this I had to go to a maybe dodgy place to get a driver.

Sorry for the long-winded rant. Just seeing this "forum" started to ask this 2 years ago and I found it over my frustration is disappointing. You had a good product. This multi-device switch is something no other company does, that's your selling point (really thinking to send back tomorrow both mouse and keyboard and just buy a $50 switch box :( ).

I'd send both back while you still can.

Very shortly, someone from Logitech will say thanks for your comment, it's been passed to the concerned team, but what you're asking for is very difficult and they can't guarantee it will ever happen.

    Logitech is it ready yet?

Logitech, if you are going to provide the same answer don’t even bother. 2 years is more than enough time to at least have a game plan, already tested a solution and provide your customers with an actual answer. Even if you can’t make it happen for whatever reason be upfront and tell us instead of having us waiting. There are rockets landing back on earth to be reused and nasa never made that happened. Maybe it’s time to look somewhere else.

    I just saw this: https://www.logitech.com/nl-nl/software/logi-options-plus.html

I sold my mouse and keyboard so I’m not able to test this. But I still follow this thread with interest.

I've been in the beta for Logi Options+ for about a year now and sorry to say that it doesn't have the feature we all want.
In fact I don't see any real benefit in having it over the original options, and it even requires having the original Options installed to work.
Final note - it doesn't have support for the MX Vertical I recently purchased to complement my MX Master 3 either.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s the difference between Logi Options and Logitech Options?

Options+ has the same great features as Options—but with an updated interface designed to be easier to use for all. Over time, Options+ will also get new features that are not possible in Options.

Dudes, Logitech is not able or don't want to make it as we asked for 2 years. As lots of people here are IT guys, even the response given since the beginning is not satisfying...

    Hi Siddhart,

can you please escalate to the Product Manager of the respective team, or even Program Management, and give us actual feedback about the prioritization and the assignment? We know it was "shared with the team", but that's just not enough. We need more.

    Thanks,
    Ingmar

Just to share, but I gave up on Logitech products.

Got multiple mouses (MX Master 3 + MX Anywhere 3) + MX Keys and was fooled by the false promise as everyone. Logitech never really answered, never even acknowledged or apologized for lying on the product (and no, saying you are sorry for the inconvenience but not being able to make a statement to tell wether or not you will support this use case is not an apology, it's only communicational bullshit to do damage control).

My guess: they are releasing Logi Bolt products based on a new receiver and soon they will will say: just buy the new Bolt products, it's implemented on it but receiver is not compatible so you need to buy again both mouse and keyboard.

I had issues with G560 RGB speakers too (sounds is cuttings randomly, whatever the port used), never fixed, never acknowledged too.

There is also a focus stealing issue on Unifying update client (it drops you out of the games), never acknowledged, never fixed.

    As a result:

    - I sold all my Logitech products

    - I bought a cool custom mech keyboard, a cool ergonomic mouse

    - I bought some standard speakers, sad to loose RGB lighting, but it was not working that well

    - replaced all the logitech software crap with a real KVM

Totally satisfied, no more issues, works whatever the network you are on, whatever the hardware plugged in, whatever the OS (Linux+Windows in my case)... And I don't rely unfinished products and software anymore (no more focus stealing during games, no more sound lost during games and movies).

Bye Logitech, see you never !!!

Flow is intended for other purpose: having two pc's powered on, connected to the same network, and work on both pc's with the same keyboard&mouse.

It is a marvelous feature, but what we need is different: finish working in the company's laptop (turn it off), and then turn on the home pc, and use it with the same keyboard&mouse.

Currently we have to push two buttons:

-the easy switch button of the keyboard.

-the connection button of the mouse.

It would be a marvelous impovement, if the keyboard could order the mouse to switch to another device.

Axel Haustant, what is the brand and model of your KVM switch?

It's a TESmart, he can switch monitors, keyboard, mouse and 3 usb ports with a simple keyboard shortcut or the remote control.

It suit even better my need:

I'm remote working and switch a lots of time between computers. For some client I need to use their dedicated laptop. I only have one PC on windows, the others are on Linux, so no Option but I was thinking it was done at a lower level (firmware, usb key...). I was having an HDMI switch and I though I would be able to switch both mouse and keyboard together with a single touch on the MX Keys.

To be honest, I was in search for ergonomic, this would have allowed me to switch easily with 2 moves, 1 on the HDMI switch, 1 on the MX Keys. I found myself needing 3 buttons, one being under the mouse, which was kind of defeating the ergo as well as being annoying when you do that very often all day long.

Since I replaced the HDMI Switch and the logitech stack with the KVM, It´s totally generic and I can switch quickly with a single shortcut from any keyboard on any OS, no software to install, no network dependency, nothing. And bonus, now it's ergonomic !

Axel Haustant, thank you for the details, it really helps. I am tired of these Logitech options Utility with no options to work on dual desktops (win, mac).

    How about this? https://www.tesmart.com/collections/dual-monitor/products/hdmi-dp-dual-monitor-kvm-switch-4k-60hz?variant=37642040606916

Would you mind sharing a model number of your KVM or a direct link to their product? Appreciate it.

Flow is not an option when you have a corporate device connected to a VPN, because even if the two laptop are phisycally connected to the same switch they are logically connected to two different network

    Hi LOGITECH,

As "the feedback has already been passed along to the team" since a very very long time, what is the answer of the team ?

We want you to prove us you are able to do this "hard thing".

If you're only able to do easy things so don't sell it at this price.

    Thanks.

    Bump.

This would make a huge difference to my day - we all buy these products for the small features that make interacting with our laptops and computers more seamless. Sad to see that this hasn't been done yet.

The thread below was a bit beyond me, but sounds as though it is possible from what those on the thread have been doing:

    https://github.com/Logitech/logi_craft_sdk/issues/28#:~:text=When%20using%20the%20device%20switch,allows%20better%20swapping%20between%20devices.

Wow 2 years later and instead of progress on desired features, we've got six versions of the same mouse. I really hope one day I can achieve a good workflow between my current logitech devices instead of constantly needing to buy new ones. Axel Haustant, I suspect you're right that at this point, they will release these features in the 9th identical mouse and charge something ridiculous for it. Thanks for the alternative rec.

Modify my opinion. Flow is annoying crap on those devices it's actually working. Please put the 3 device channel switch mappable on the mouse buttons or keyboard button (1, 2, 3 and not this carousel thingy) It would solve this for everyone.
