    Any update on this?

It's so much easier to switch both the mouse and the keyboard from the touch of the keys on the keyboard..It makes everything so much smoother, please consider this!!!

    Hey!
as you can see, logi won't do it or even give us a satisfying answer on this.
    I suppose for commercial purposes...
This is the first time I have not been satisfied with logi products and it 's was the last too...

    Still no updates on this?
I don't understand why this problem is so difficult, even though both the keyboard and mouse are Bluetooth devices.
It seems to be a simple solution by connecting the mouse and keyboard to each other.

For my work i use 3 computers that are on different isolated networks. And i switch from one computer to another at least 100 times a day.

At home i have made a setup with a KVM and a programmable keyboard, so i can switch keyborad and mouse  from one computer to another by pressing a single key. This has a cost : 150€ for the keyboard, 100€ for the KVM and lots of advanced keys button are lost (horizontal ruler, multimedia keys...)

At works, i have MX keys and mouse. this is like hell on earth keyboard and mouse are never on the same computer, I type passwords in the chat box (on lot of systems, you have no return on screen when you type a key). I hae always looking for my mouse pointer... I finally have found a temporary solution : i have 3 mices, which still leads to mistakes.

Be sure that if you release this feature i will immediatly buy 2 sets of keyboard/mouse. And i will promote this device in my company (we are 300 000+ worldwide, many of us have multiple isolated computers).

And if a competitor release this feature before you, i will immediatly switch to this competitor.

This solution can’t be that hard to implement if Flow is able to do it. I just had to return the MX master 3s mouse I had because I can’t use Flow. Please make this functionality work.

I have a feeling they are saving it as a feature for a newer version to make loads of money. Will backfire.

Please add this as a feature. Make it a firmware update if possible so that you can pair the mouse and keyboard together so you can just use the keyboard easy switch buttons to switch them both.

There are some setups were it is not possible to use logitech flow on both the computers.

Adding my voice to the multitudes here.

"Flow" kind of works, but is clunky and frequently flows between computers when I don't want it to. I have selected the ctrl-move option so it's not just flowing between computers all the time, but this means when I'm copy/pasting things it's easy to accidentally switch between computers.

The claim that it's not easy to implement is a weird one, as Flow is exactly that, just controlled from the mouse. I don't see how the same function couldn't be controlled from the keyboard instead. I'd much rather turn flow off and use the keyboard buttons to do the same job.

How is this not a thing? Seems like such an easy solution to a common problem.

Since Logitech is probably never going to make this happen, does anyone know a brand that does offer this feature? Thinking about throwing my MX Keys and MX Master 3 (should be a SET Logitech!) in the thrash for another brand that does offer this SIMPLE feature.

I just planed to upgrade to the MX Keys and MX Master 3s from the K780 and MX Master 2s and wanted to check if then this feature is FINALLY available. It can not be that difficult and I don't understand why there isn't a third party solution if logitech isn't able to do this.

It will never be implemented by Logitech because they don't want to. It's not hard to do but they prefer to sell more new hardware and don't care about customers complains...

This feature would help me with some devices where I can not install Logitech options, please let us know if it could be a reality at some point.

I really can't believe that this feature is not able to be implemented after at least 2 years of user complaints.

Why is it possible to switch using the mouse but not the keyboard.

I have had the MX master mouse since it came out and now on to my 3rd mouse and brought the keyboard thinking this would be great for my WFH setup.  Very dissapointing that this cannot be worked out.

I know we keep getting the same responce from logitech but really actions speak way louder than words.

So, I can see a few reasons why this feature would be difficult.

Firstly, those three switching buttons don't seem to be directly connected to the host computer - they appear to be purely keyboard-side functionality.

Secondly, we can switch inputs via scripts but sometimes those scripts don't work - if the target device is disconnected or the keyboard or mouse are in a sleep-ish state they don't switch over.

For me, I have a button on my stream deck that swaps the input from [2] to [1], and then on my work Mac I have a shortcut on the dock bar that works 80% of the time.

I'm not entirely convinced that they *can* make this feature in a 100% effective way.  What they could do, though, is at least have a damn stab at it.

Flow is total and utter garbage for most use cases with the rare exception of *maybe* if you have three monitors side by side with a computer on each.  And even then, it doesn't always work or you have a significant delay while the switch happens.

Accidental switching is a thing, too, so you can use a modifier key to trigger the switch with hotzones - but at that point you may as well just have a hotkey to switch and we're back to where we were.

So yeah.  Unfortunately, the keyboard switching buttons are non-starters.

I have one additional annoyance: I use sleep mode on my main computer.  So when I do that, I have to press the [1] key on my keyboard and then push the button under the mouse to swap away from input 2.  Otherwise moving the mouse wakes the computer.  And - this is the fun part - there's no way to disable that without also disabling the keyboard's wake feature.

Whoever the product owner is on the Logitech side: You really need to look at more tech workflows and use cases for your target audience and write better product requirements.  I paid £200 for this set and for the most part they're great... but for that premium these little annoyances feel like I wasted my money.  Especially when you factor in weird things like when keyboards sometimes double-register inputs because they're having a bit of a mare.

TL;DR - we can script it ourselves but it's still pretty janky and people should not buy these devices.

Agreed - this feature really is needed.

Great idea! Same problem here. I thought this would be standard - but i can`t find anything in the Logitech software to set this up.

This would even more useful than Flow.

It's 2022, are we still dealing with kvm switches? I was thinking of buying it just for this feature. But I gave up on purchasing because the one-button keyboard and mouse did not change at the same time. Logitech is so focused on gamers that it forgets business people like us. Time is money

almost 3 years and it's still not implemented. What is the issue here ?

I bought this expensive keyboard because it was a key feature. I would have to consider returning it.

Flow kinda works, yet it's not bulletproof, i would have to scroll 5 screens before i get to desired device (3 device scenario). My mouse is travelling more than me these days.

Hey, as a software developer I really don't get why this can't be implemented ...
You have built "flow" which switches PCs on reaching one edge of the screen and now you dodge around the request to make this existing function bindable to a key because it is "too hard to implement" ... sorry, but THAT sounds like a cheap excuse from your dev team ... reusing an existing function should be an easy task if you did not have messed up your entire software architecture ;)
Sure, I can imagine that this will work in setups only which are supported by "flow" right now, but that should cover the majority of setups, and somehow firmware changes may be involved, but that's just software in the end as well.

And when you may be thinking about eventually implementing it, it would be nice to be able to add custom commands to the switching event, like sending a VPC code to the connected display to switch the input channel without fiddling around with the displays buttons and OSDs .. nothing really fancy, launching a command/program (like ControlMyMonitor) will do ;)

Need to add another vote for this feature. Both devices have bluetooth communication, no reason we shouldn't be able to pair them to each other to enable this function. I fit in the Work / Home PC with VPN so different networks category. So Flow is not an option.

Working with multiple pcs on different networks. This is why I bought the MX duo, figuring that even if Flow didn't work for me, Easy Switch would have me covered... Nope :(. I might not be so very annoyed if at the very least I could set one of the configurable mouse buttons to switch instead of having to turn the mouse over all the time.. feels like a bit of a non-ergonomic place for a button that I need to press so often.

If easy switch also switched the mouse, I think I would actually recommend the set. As it is, I feel a little embarrassed with what I paid for them. This feature is a big deal. If Logitech could do it, they would be the first that I know of.

One easy way would be for Logitech to release a product that allows a direct Bluetooth connection between a mouse and keyboard. If you connect the mouse's bluetooth to the keyboard and multi-pair the keyboard with two computers, you will be able to switch the mouse's connection with the keyboard's easy-key. Of course, the same function is possible if you connect the mouse to two or more computers after connecting the keyboard and mouse.
