[Feature request] Make MX Keys easy switch the mouse too
BeantwortetHi Logitech,
What I would very much like to see is that the easy switch keys on my Logitech MX keys keyboard also switch my mouse to the computer I select.
Currently those keys switch the keyboard to a different computer but leave the mouse as is. So now I need to pick up the mouse (MX Master 2S) and use the small button at the bottom to change between computers.
When would you ever want to leave the mouse as is and switch keyboard only? Never right? Please make those 3 keys switch the mouse too!
I can't install the flow software on my locked work laptop so that isn't a solution for me.
Would be a great upgrade for me!

Adding my +1 for this request.
I'm just as shocked as others that this isn't the case.
Logitech Flow works...but not near as well as synergy.
And I'd like to keep my desktop and laptop that I switch between on separate networks, as one is a work device and the other a personal one. -
Dear Everybody who are truly disappointed!
As far as I can see after Logitech is not open to do anything in this topic: I think it is the time to ask popular youtubers to create a “watch this before you buy Logitech Mx Keys” video. If you can do the same just let us know and we will like it and share it to make it popular. Let’s do this way and save a lot of wasting money for others.

Same here,
got no clue how this could be not taken on consideration when the products were designed, to keep the functionality to switch 'whole set' not only the keyboard no the buttons, hope it will be software updated feature soon, flow works - this is plus but unfortunatelly when the PC's are in different networks this feature is not compatible, which is completly useless :/
let us know if there are plans to implement this functionality ? if there isn't - I will have to sent MX mice back

And yet there is this duolink feature.
Wouldn't it be possible to use Fn + easyswitch keys to switch both keyboard and mouse automatically?
I'm a developer myself and I'd be very surprised Logitech didn't think of this feature. I know we have to draw a line somewhere but it's really obvious usage scenario (more than adding a light or proximity sensor to me, it's cool to have don't get me wrong but I could live without).
Anyways, I have two computers but a single screen, flow won't be of any use in this configuration.

Definitely as needed feature !
Today it's very cumbersome to switch devices for the mouse and when switching the devices on the keyboard should support the switch for both the keyboard and the mouse automatically.
And no, I cannot use flow because of security constrains I cannot install flow on my office laptop

This must be the easiest and most useful thing for Logitech to implement.
I assumed this would work, buying both mx keys and mx master 3 mouse.
The turn mouse upside down to press a button 100+ times a day is really annoying.
Flow does not work that well for my setup so this would be a feature highly appreciated. -
Same as several people here.
In the products description, both Easy Switch and Flow seems to be related in your wording.
Conceptually, both are very close.
It is clearly misleading us in our purchase (should be part of a FAQ as so many people have misunderstood this).
Flow is fine as it is, but two cons:
- there's a kind of latency from switching from the profile 1 (Unify one) and the other profiles (Bluetooth ones)... quite nullifying the experience...
- this kind of feature helps a lot in a Work From Home scenario. and in WFH situation, we are more likely using company's VPN and unfortunately, Flow is not working at all in that case... that's why the use of Easy Switch for linked keyboard/mouse couple is a must-have !

As previous customers have said, this would be a wonderful feature to have supported. For many of us working from home due to COVID, we’re forced to work with corporate laptops that are tightly controlled by the IT Department. I.e., Flow is not a viable option. The number of times I’ve switched my mouse but not my keyboard (or vice versa) is frustrating and impacting productivity. Almost threw my mouse across the room today, purely out of frustration! ;-)

Very surprised this is not a standard feature, it is cumbersome to have to lift the mouse up to switch to a different computer. One of them is a company-owned computer onto which I cannot install the logi options & flow software, so still have to switch manually. Please fix this ASAP!

+1. This is absolutely needed. I would like to use this setup with my work computer and my home computer. Flow won't work because work computers are isolated by firewall and flow will never be able to see the other computer. Having to switch them independently isn't a good solution.
