You can use Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) 8.88 or later to customize lighting settings on your G203 gaming mouse. If you don’t have Logitech Gaming Software, you can get the latest version from this product's Download page.
Customize lighting settings in Automatic Game Detection mode
Customize lighting settings in On-Board Memory mode
- Open the Logitech Gaming Software:
Start > All Programs > Logitech > Logitech Gaming Software 8.88 - In the G203 Home window, select On-Board Memory or Automatic Game Detection mode.
NOTE: For help choosing between the two, see Choose between gaming mouse On-Board Memory and Automatic Game Detection modes. - Click the Lighting Settings icon.
Customize lighting settings in Automatic Game Detection mode
- Lighting Zone Selection: In LGS, you can customize settings for the G logo. The lighting customization options affect both the G logo and light band. You can apply light settings to the lighting zone or disable the lighting by setting the blue toggle marker to the left position.

Lighting Effect: Choose from the following options:
- Off — Lighting effects are disabled and the lighting zone glows in a fixed color of your choosing. Use the color selector on the left to assign a stock color, or create a custom color.
- Breathing Effect — Select this option to activate a pulsating effect that simulates breathing. You can adjust the breathing effect’s brightness and rate — click and drag the slider to the right to increase and to the left to decrease. Use the color selector on the left to assign a stock color, or create a custom color.
- Color Cycle — Set the speed for how quickly the colors cycle on the mouse. Use the sliders to adjust the brightness and speed.

Enable per profile backlight settings (Automatic Game Detection mode only) — The lighting customization options universally affect the G203 gaming mouse by default. However, you can also configure lighting settings to be set on a per game profile basis. Select a game from the list to begin configuring lighting settings for that game's profile. Click “+” to add a new profile.
NOTE: To delete a profile, in the Profiles pane, right-click on the profile, then select Delete.
- Lighting Sleep Timer: The lighting sleep timer is disabled on the G203 gaming mouse by default. It specifies the number of minutes of inactivity after which your mouse’s lighting will automatically turn off. You can enable the lighting sleep timer by clicking on the checkbox. Use the arrow buttons to adjust the timer or set a value manually by typing a value from 0-60 (minutes) in the box.
- If you have other Logitech G devices, you can sync them with your customized lighting settings by clicking on the respective icon for that device. To the left of the device icons, a Sync Active button is displayed to indicate that the synchronization is enabled.
NOTE: Click on any of the illuminated device icons to turn off sync.
