Your Harmony 1000/1000i uses a lithium-ion battery which can be recharged at any time without reducing battery life.
- The amount of green in the battery indicator shrinks as the battery becomes depleted. Here the battery indicator shows a full charge:
- The remote needs to be charged when the battery icon is empty:
- If the battery level is too low, it will cease to function and a message will display on the LCD asking to be charged:
- When the remote is placed on the charger an image of a lightning bolt appears over the battery indicator at the top of the remote's LCD
