Wireless mode is the default method of connecting your Duet, wherein both the Receiver and the Controller are connected to your wireless network. To connect your Duet in wireless mode, please do the following:

Plug in your Squeezebox Receiver to a working AC power outlet. The light on the front of the Receiver should be a slow, blinking red.

Turn on your Squeezebox Controller, select your language and press the center button.

Choose your wireless region and press the center button.

Choose your network from the list of networks and press the center button.

Enter your wireless encryption key and press the center button twice.

Once the Receiver has connected to your network, choose ‘Set up Receiver’ and press the center button.

Select your Receiver from the list and press the center button.
NOTE: Your Squeezebox will be identified by the word ‘Squeezebox’ followed by the last 6 digits of the Receiver’s MAC address. The MAC address is on a sticker on the bottom of the Receiver.

The lights on the front of the Receiver will cycle through the following colors:
- Red
- Yellow
- Green
- Blue

When the light turns blue, the Controller will ask you to choose a music source. Choose SqueezeCenter if it is installed on your computer.

If SqueezeCenter is not installed, select SqueezeNetwork and press the center button. You will need to set up a SqueezeNetwork account if this is your first time connecting. For instructions on setting up a SqueezeNetwork account, please see Knowledge Base article 360023220974.

After connecting to the Squeezenetwork, your Controller will display the following message:
‘That’s it, continue’

Press the center button to complete the setup. You should now be able to play music.
