To resolve this issue, please do the following:

Put fresh batteries in your MX620 mouse. Low or dead batteries can affect mouse movement. For instructions on changing the batteries, please see Knowledge Base article 360023224274.

Turn off your MX620 mouse and clean the sensor (shown below) with a soft clean cloth or a Q-tip.

Use a mouse pad and avoid using your MX620 on the following surfaces:
- Glass or other see-through surfaces.
- Reflective surface such as a mirror or metal desk.
- Wood grains and grooved surfaces.

Relocate the receiver to a different location or move your mouse closer to the USB receiver. Also see Knowledge Base article 360023224274.
Additional Information
If the above solutions do not resolve your problem, your erratic mouse movement may be caused by software.
If the cursor speed is set too fast, the cursor can move so fast it appears to be erratic. Please see Knowledge Base article 360023224274 for instructions on configuring your mouse movement settings.
