To change or fix what the buttons on your Harmony One remote do:
- From My Harmony, click the Buttons option.
- From the Buttons page, click the Change or Fix What a Button Does? drop-down menu and select the Activity or Device.
- Click Go.
- If you’re changing buttons for an activity, select a device within the activity to display commands for that device.
- On the right side of the screen appears a list of commands you can assign to buttons. Commands already assigned will appear grayed out within the list. Beside the commands list is a graphic image of the remote. When you hover your mouse pointer over a button within the graphic, the command currently assigned to the button is displayed.
From the Commands list, drag the command you want to assign and drop it onto the appropriate button on the graphic image of the remote.
To add a command that does not appear on the Commands list, or to fix an existing command that is not working properly, click Add or Fix Command. From the screen that appears, click Fix a command that doesn't’t work if you want to fix an existing command. To add a new command, click Add a missing command and enter a name for the new command. In both cases, you’ll be asked to use your existing remote to teach the command to your Harmony remote. After you teach a new command, it is will be added to the Commands list, so you can drag and drop it onto a button. - When you are done dragging and dropping commands, click OK.
- Sync your remote to update it with your changes.
Note: When you fix an existing command, the change will be reflected in all activities that use the command, regardless of which activity you select from the Buttons page.
