About M600 gesture threshold detection and erratic behavior
You may notice that sometimes there is a delay when using your mouse or that it's hard to trigger a function. This is due to the mouse's gesture threshold detection. The situations where the gestures might be harder to trigger are:
-
The mouse is lifted
-
The mouse is moving faster than 1 inch/second
The mouse does this to prevent accidental gestures when mouse is being moved quickly, or in other situations where unintended gestures might be more likely. This is the normal behavior of the mouse.
Re-calibrating to correct erratic behavior
In some rare cases, you might experience unusual clicking or gesture behavior that doesn't appear to be due to the previous conditions. If this happens, you may need to re-calibrate the M600's touch sensor. To re-calibrate the touch sensor:
-
Make sure that the mouse has fresh batteries.
-
Power the mouse off using the switch on the bottom of the mouse.
-
Turn the mouse back on.
-
While not touching the top of the mouse, place the mouse bottom side down on the table, and leave the mouse alone for 30 seconds.
-
After a full 30 seconds, the mouse will have re-calibrated its sensors and it should be ready to use.
