You can connect your Logitech UE Mobile Boombox to your computer using either Bluetooth or the 3.5mm auxiliary connector.
Bluetooth
- Make sure your computer has a Bluetooth adapter.
- Place the mobile speaker in pairing mode (see 360023250834 for help).
NOTE: You won't need to do this if the computer is the first device you're pairing because the mobile speaker comes out of the box ready to pair. - Go to your computer's Bluetooth connection screen or control panel and select "UE Mobile Boombox" from the list of available devices.
- Select the speaker as the audio-output device (see your computer's documentation for help).
NOTE: On a Macintosh computer, you'll have a choice between "UE Mobile Boombox" and "UE Mobile Boombox Stereo". Select the non-stereo option for use with chat applications and the stereo option for music output.
Auxiliary 3.5mm connector
- Make sure your computer has a 3.5mm audio output.
- Select your computer's default option (usually the sound card) for the audio-output device (see your computer's documentation for help).
- Connect your mobile speaker to your computer using a 3.5mm auxiliary cable (not included).
NOTE: The USB connection is solely for charging your UE Mobile Boombox. It won't enable you to use your mobile speaker as an audio-output device when connected to a computer.
