To connect your Type-S to a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 tablet:
You should now be able to use the keyboard with any Android application that accepts keyboard inputs.
- Turn the keyboard on by snapping the bottom of the holder onto the magnetic strip above the first row of keyboard buttons. The status light on the upper right side of the keyboard turns green to indicate that the keyboard is on.
NOTE: If the status light is red, you’ll need to charge your keyboard battery. See 360023265194 for instructions.
After two seconds, the status light starts rapidly flickering blue.
NOTE: The first time you turn the keyboard case on, it enters discovery mode until it successfully pairs with your tablet (up to 15 minutes). - On your tablet, tap the Settings icon and make sure Bluetooth is ON.
- Tap Type - S to pair the keyboard with your tablet.
- When prompted for a passcode, type the passcode shown on-screen, and then press Enter.
NOTE: The passcode needs to be entered using the Type-S keyboard and NOT the tablet’s on-screen keyboard. - When the pairing is complete, the tablet will show Connected for your Type - S keyboard case.
You should now be able to use the keyboard with any Android application that accepts keyboard inputs.
