To check the battery status, do one of the following:

- Open your keyboard cover and snap the holder onto the magnetic strip above the top row of keys. This turns the keyboard on and the status LED lights up to indicate the battery status.
- With the cover open and in the typing position, press once on the battery status key in the upper right corner of the keyboard.
