Rally Camera will run with any USB-enabled computing systems that run the operating systems and versions listed below. Note that factors such as CPU speed and memory on your computing system can impact video performance.
What operating systems support Rally Camera?
As Rally Camera and other Logitech ConferenceCams are USB enabled, video, plus most other features, is supported by Windows, Mac, and Chrome natively through the UVC standard. Using the UVC standard, no driver installation is required to support your Rally Camera or other Logitech conference or webcams.
A driver is a program for Windows that controls the operation of the device within the operating system. When a Logitech USB-connected device is plugged into a Windows-enabled computing system, Windows will automatically load and configure a driver software within Windows and notify when the installation is complete.

Rally Camera video will work with any application that supports USB Video Class, which is pretty much any video conferencing application. Once the device is recognized by your operating system, the application will, in turn, recognize the Rally Camera.

What USB cables can I use?
Rally Camera ships with a USB 3.0 cable, which is provided at the maximum length allowable (2.2 M). The cable can also be plugged into a USB 2.0 port. USB 3.0 cables have a shorter maximum length so you may need to adjust the placement of your computer platform or use a USB 2.0 cable.

Rally Camera is built to work across a large variety of video conferencing applications, offering the best video performance in these applications. Logitech does not offer video conferencing software, although we offer applications and tools to optimize the hardware experience like our Camera Setting application.

How do I upgrade my firmware and what platforms do you support?
We support firmware updates for both Windows and Mac platforms. When a firmware upgrade is available for your camera, you'll be able to download a firmware application tool from Logitech. When you launch the tool, it upgrades the camera’s firmware. Check the Rally Camera Download page for the latest firmware upgrades. In addition, we also provide over-the-air updates for customers who allow them, and Windows Update, Microsoft’s tool for automatically updating the Windows operating system, will also provide firmware updates if Windows Update is turned on.
NOTE: Before you run the upgrade, make sure the camera driver has been completely installed and isn't in use by other applications.
Does Rally Camera work with WebRTC solutions (Chrome, Firefox, etc)?
Rally Camera is compatible with standard WebRTC, although different builds may have different requirements that should be evaluated.
