ConferenceCam Connect gives you three ways to connect:
The connection buttons are on the top of the ConferenceCam Connect, as shown:
1 — Wireless screen mirror mode
2 — Power On / Off button
3 — Bluetooth mode
4 — Video conferencing mode
Video conferencing mode
Video conferencing mode is the default mode for Connect. In addition, plugging into the USB port on your system will turn the device on.
If the device is sitting in one of the other modes or powered off:
To connect your ConferenceCam Connect in video conferencing mode:
Bluetooth mode
To connect your ConferenceCam Connect using Bluetooth:
Wireless screen mirror mode
To use your Connect in wireless screen mirror mode on a Miracast enabled mobile device:

4 — Video conferencing mode
Video conferencing mode is the default mode for Connect. In addition, plugging into the USB port on your system will turn the device on.
If the device is sitting in one of the other modes or powered off:
To connect your ConferenceCam Connect in video conferencing mode:
- Connect your laptop to the ConferenceCam using the USB cable. This should turn the device on if not on already. Otherwise, tap the power on button.
- Select Video conferencing mode on the top of the unit. This should be the default mode when the device is turned on.
- NOTE: Connecting your ConferenceCam will install all the necessary drivers. The base of the ConferenceCam will flash blue and chime when it’s ready to use. (It may take a few minutes to install the drivers).
- Open your video conferencing software and select ConferenceCam Connect as the video and sound device. You are now ready to start the conference.
- During the call, use the provided remote to control video and audio. When the call is completed, simply replace the remote in the slot on the ConferenceCam Connect.
To connect your ConferenceCam Connect using Bluetooth:
- On the top of your device, tap the power button to turn it on.
- To make an audio-only call on your smartphone or tablet, select Bluetooth mode on the top of the camera and hold until it starts flashing.
- Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device. ConferenceCam Connect will play a sound to let you know it’s connected.
- NOTE: If your device is NFC-enabled, touch the device on the NFC icon on the speakerphone.
- Start your call.
To use your Connect in wireless screen mirror mode on a Miracast enabled mobile device:
- On the top of your ConferenceCam Connect, tap the power button to turn it on.
- Connect the ConferenceCam Connect to the display using an HDMI cable.
- Select Wireless screen mirror mode on the ConferenceCam Connect.
- On your mobile device, go to Settings, and select ‘Screen mirroring’ to share your screen. Refer to the manual for your mobile device for instructions specific to your device.
