While the majority of Bose receivers are compatible with Harmony remotes, a few older Bose receivers are only controllable using an RF (radio frequency) remote control and are not compatible with a Harmony remote. Some Bose receivers can, through the use of a third-party adapter be controlled by a Harmony remote.
