If your wireless mouse shows an incorrect battery level or percentage in your software or operating system, try these troubleshooting options:
Charge without interruptions
- Plug in your mouse using the original charging cable or dock.
- If you use a secondary adapter or cable, ensure it is fully compatible with your mouse.
- Turn off your mouse while charging to isolate the battery level reading.
Check the cable and connection
- Try a different cable, USB port, or wall charger to verify the charging connection.
- For mice with removable batteries, ensure the battery fits tightly and the contacts are clean and free of dust.
Update your software
- Update your device firmware using Logi Options+ or G HUB. Select your mouse > open Settings > check under Firmware version for updates.
Restart your mouse
- After charging and updating, turn your mouse off and back on.
- Reconnect your mouse to your computer to check if the battery level updates correctly.
Test over several charges
- Use and recharge your mouse through several charges to allow the software to recalibrate the battery reading.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact Logitech Support and share any error details you noticed.
