Unable to connect to iOS Home app. "Unable to find accessory"
AnsweredI tired for 3 hours to setup the doorbell in the Home app. I keep getting unable to find accessory. I tried resetting everything, still no success. I have the latest iOS 14.2.1 Should I just return the doorbell for a new one? Any other troubleshooting steps I can try that I may have missed?

I was getting this same behavior on a new doorbell. I ended up doing a hard reset twice. The second time it worked and was able to connect. Hold the button, then plug it into the USB power. Once it flashes magenta really fast, let go. If it worked, you should hear two beeps and see a solid green light.

I have the same issue. Resetting doesn't fix it for me. On First Setup, the iPad would not recognize the doorbell when in close proximity so I had to add manually, but it timed out before connecting. Then after resetting and trying to add to Home App, It seems that the doorbell thinks it is connected because the led turns from green to solid blue and the doorbell button perimeter is illuminated, but the iPad Home app reports "Unable to Add Accessory - An unknown error occurred" and is not visible as a device in Home app.
