Circle View Doorbell, Activity Zones
AnsweredThe doorbell seems to be working without issues that I see others having. The option to set up activity zones does not appear in the Home app. I saw it in a review on youTube but it makes no appearance for me.

To turn on Activity zones:

In "Recording Option" turn on Stream & Allow Recording

Once you turn it on, you will then see "More Options" in Recording Options

Open "More Options" and change the setting to "Specific Motion is Detected"

Select which items you want detected then tap the "Back" button twice

You should now see "Select Activity Zones..." listed in the settings menu.

Open Activity Zones and select the area you want to watch for activity.

Then tap Done.
It is also suggested that you set "Receive Notifications When" to "A Clip Is Recorded"

I actually don't see an email in our system regarding this issue but I'd be glad to get one started.
Here are some things you can try if you are having trouble with your Home Kit:

Reboot your Home Hub(s)

Reboot the device you are viewing the doorbell on
-
Make sure your Home Hub(s) and viewing device are up to date

Log out of your iCloud account and log back in on your viewing device

Reset network settings on viewing device: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network settings
If none of the above works, please reach out to Apple for Home kit support -

I have done all those with no luck. I’ve also attempted to use multiple devices. Like I said earlier all my devices are at the latest software version. I even rebooted the doorbell with no luck. I have version 8.10.67 software on the doorbell. Is that the latest?
