    Hi, I have two questions:

    1) Is possible to have ONE SINGLE SOFTWARE to manage old and new devices? Especially when those are combined on a single machine...how is possible that Logitech releases a new software every now and then, without supporting the old products? For example I have a KB800 and an MX Master 3 and it is necessary to use two different apps (setpoint and options+).
Then when travelling with the laptop i use an M390 silent mouse, and again, option+ doesn't support it.
    It is a nonsense.

    2) On the MX Keys would be possible to set the "function buttons on/off" for each different app instead as a global setting?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you have K800, MX Master 3, M590 (as we do not have M390), and MX Keys, please use Logi Options software.

Regarding the Logi Options+, we will keep adding more devices to Options+. So if your device is not supported yet, please stay tuned. You can use your device in Options until then.

For MX Keys' function keys, please find the link for more information: https://support.logi.com/hc/articles/360034429613

Feel free to get back to us if you have any further clarification and we will be happy to assist you.

    Hi Galixte,

    Thanks for reaching out.

For any issues/bug reports with Options+, please refer to the Feedback tab at the bottom of the app, or write to us at logioptionsplus@logitech.com
Your feedback will be directly received by the engineering team and they will look into it.

Regarding the link, we have announced the release of Logitech Options+ beta software in various categories/topics on the community. That's why we are able to find the same information on more than two links.

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns at any time in the future.

Options+ is continually crashing every 30 minutes and can only be fixed by reinstalling the app on macOS 12.1

Is there a place I can view logs to see why it might be crashing? It's making my MX Master 3 mouse unusable when I have to spend 5 minutes reinstalling to get my button settings to work again only to have to do it all over again 30 minutes later.

Feedback tab at the bottom of the app does near nothing for me. If I press it I can only enter my email address, press Continue button and nothing happens after that.

As soon as my Feedback tab does not work, let me post one feature request here.

I do work with Microsoft's Remote Desktop really often connecting to different remote PCs. I have assigned "Desktop right" and "Desktop left" actions for my MX mouse side buttons. The problem is that those actions do not work when I have Remote Desktop connection opened fullscreen. Logi Options tries to send hotkeys to remote PC I suppose.

Same problem occurs when I have VMWare Workstation's Virtual Machine opened and mouse is focused inside that virtual machine. Actions just don't work.

Can you make an option to force selected actions (hotkeys) on local PC (inside local Windows)?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I have both the MX Master 3 for Mac mouse and the MX Keys keyboard for Mac. Running OSX 11.6.2 on an M1 Mac Mini.

Both the "Logi Options Daemon" and "Logi Options+" launch on boot. EACH often consumes around 1.5% of my CPU and sometimes as much as 3% which seems ridiculous.

    Questions:

    1. Is is necessary to have BOTH of these running? If not how do I uninstall them or whichever is or are unnecessary?

    2. Is it necessary to run these at all or can I just launch one when I need to make changes to the MX device settings?

I love the mouse in particular but consuming up to 6% of my CPU for a mouse is unacceptable.

    Thanks!

    Hey John,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you have both the Logi Options and the Logi Options+ Beta software, please uninstall any one of the software. However, please do not end any task in the background to avoid software failure.

    Thanks Prem,

    I have uninstalled Logi Options.

Since you overlooked this aspect of my question I had to search this forum to figure out how. For the benefit of other Mac users there is the "Logi Options" application in "/Applications" and also some files in "/Library/Application Support/Logitech" to remove. There are also some preferences files in "~/Library/Application Support/Logitech".

    Hey John,

Thanks for following up on your case.

Let us know if the issue has been resolved.

Please note, Logi Options Daemon is one of the functions of Logi Options software that runs in the background. Ending this particular function may not help you. Every time when you restart the device, it will start running automatically in the background. So, the resolution is to uninstall one of the software that will uninstall all its files. For example, if you uninstall the Logi Options software successfully, all the files including Logi Options Daemon will be uninstalled.

Any news on if/when the MX Craft Keyboard will be supported? This is the only thing keeping me on regular Logi Options. I use the MX Master 3 and Craft.
