same here, so my brandnew mouse is completely unusable! scrollwheel actions (in photoshop, browser, finder) repeatingly end in 5-seconds-freezes.

Thanks for joining on this. It's frustrating but good to know it's not just me. I ended up pulling out my old Anywhere MX Mouse and trashing the Logitech "options" system pref, but that's not really a solution.

Getting the same issue across multiple browsers, downgrading mine until logitech sorts it out.

+1 also seeing this with an MX Master on El Capitan. Mouse is basically unusable since the recent 6.0 upgrade to Logitech Options, since it can't reliably scroll any more. Downgrading to 5.30.150 and disabling updates seems to have fixed it. No obvious links on the logitech site, but I found a working version at http://download01.logitech.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/options/Options_5.30.150.zip

I have the same exact issue. Where did you find earlier versions of the drivers?

Same issue here. Logitech always screws something up with new versions. I've never updated to a new version without any problems. There is always something. Oh well, downgrade it is.

Hello @Alexander Betinski  Thank you for providing us feedback. Which Logitech keyboard do you have connected? Is it connected via Unifying or bluetooth? Regards, LogiB

Unfortunately, I've got the same problem. The mouse is usable, but the constant lags during scrolling are really uncomfortable. I have bought it recently(after the broken update), so It has, actually, never worked fine. I have also got K750 solar keyboard and sometimes(not often) I experience lags with during typing. It may be once a day. Would You recommend just downgrading?(to which version) Os: windows 7, 64bit SP1. Mouse and keyboard are connected by 2 separate receivers.

I'm pretty bummed, still can't use my new MX Anywhere2 mouse even now that I'm updated to macOS Sierra 10.12. My old (running on batteries) Anywhere MX mouse is working fine though. Same problem with the Anywhere2 as before: stops scrolling (or sticks) and/or has erratic scrolling behavior. Maybe it's not a software issue, could be hardware?

I have the same problem with laptop (Windows 7 x64) and home PC (Windows 10 x64). I tried to use my mouse in laptop. After that, I moved my mouse to my home PC, next I downgraded software in laptop and PC, but the problem is still not resolved. Please, help me. What I need to do? Maybe I have to return the mouse to the store?

I installed the newest version now and the lag when typing on the K750 for Mac keyboard is just horrible. Will this ever be resolved?

I finally solved my lag issue! It had nothing to do with the driver. I read on a different board that the unifying receiver has an extremely short range. I had the receiver plugged into my desktop computer, which is about 2 - 3 feet from my keyboard. When I plugged in the receiver into the monitor (right in front of my keyboard), the lag went away instantly. Very simple solution, and I am very surprised that Logitech can't tell us about this problem with the receiver.

My receiver is within a 30cm range from my mouse.

Have had this issue and tried 'reporting' it since March. Support came back with questions like "how often and when.."

My reply somehow didn't go through, it happens ALL the time as long as I have the Logitech Options installed.

Also note that I am probably like 3 updates newer, every time I install and notice the same issue, then uninstall.

To be specific, my scroll wheel would 'ignore' an up / down scroll when I switch directions, at least I think so, but occurs in other random times that I cannot pinpoint the 'when and how often' it happens.

    Dear Users,

We are aware that some people are experiencing issues when connecting their peripherals to a Mac using Bluetooth Smart technology. These issues are related to the way the Mac OS interacts with Bluetooth Smart, a technology that is included in a wide range of products. We are working directly with all parties involved with the issue -- Apple, chip manufacturers, and the BTLE industry board -- to help find a resolution.

If you use a Mac and are experiencing these issues, we suggest using the Unifying Receiver included with your MX Master to ensure stable connectivity.  If you’d like to learn more about Bluetooth connectivity generally, take a look at this article from Wirecutter < http://thewirecutter.com/blog/understanding-bluetooth-pairing-problems/ >

We will continue working with all parties to ensure full resolution of connectivity issues.and will share updates on solutions for this issue as soon as we have them. In the meantime, thanks for your patience as we work to solve this problem.

Let me paraphrase:  "We are aware that some people have devices that do not work as advertised.  We are also aware that this issue has existed for at least six months, however, we're not making any progress so don't expect any solutions."

I have the same problem. Suddenly a significant percentage of the scroll clicks go unrecognised by both of my Macs, leading to a very frustrating experience when using the mouse.

As with the others, if I click the wheel to put it into free spinning mode, the scrolling works fine. But I don' like this mode and prefer to have the clicks.

It doesn't look like Logitech is putting any serious effort into resolving this, so after 10+ years buying Logitech equipment I'm afraid I'll be switching to another brand for my next purchase.

It has been nine months since this post began. I am still suffering the same problems. Logitech is clearly not interested in helping its customers. If you purchased your device online, I would go back and write a negative review.
