wifi and wifi extender

Hi there, I noticed that the Logi Circle is not capable of switching between wifi and wifi extender, Am I doing something wrong or the camera can be only on the main WiFi network.

  Hello @Iv I - Welcome to the community!

   

  The Logi Circle can be setup as well to a WiFi extender. What kind of extender are you using? Once connected to a WiFi signal you cannot switch the Logi Circle to another one. It would need to be setup again.

  Thank you LogiLukas, I mean is there an option the camera to switch automatically from WiFi to the Extender when I simply move it from one room to another where the wifi extender is.

  Hello @Iv I !

   

  That's what I meant: If you leave the range of the WiFi (or extender) and come into the range of a different signal, for the camera to connect, you'd need to set it up again to connect to that new signal. It's not practical, obviously, but then the camera wasn't really designed to be moved frequently unlike your phone, which always looks for the strongest signal. 

  Maybe a solution for you would be to connect your Circle camera to a portable mobile broadband device which you can than move alongside camera.

  Is the Extender using the same WiFi-name, SSID and password as the WiFi router?
