Well I'm already going to thank you for the answer, never thought I'd get one. Logitech's twitter and Instagram never answered back. I mainly wanted to know if this was a widespread issue or not but I've been hearing that it's a random issue that happens, some have it on their MX Anywhere mouse. I never had this issue until the G903. That issue aside, I still like the mouse but I wish there was a specific right handed version. My suggestion, a mouse that combines the shape of the G600, design of the G903, buttons placement and scroll wheel of the G502, it would be perfect. Still working on my G903 review and I plan on getting the powerplay later on.

Sure no problem, hopefully my reviews can help shape your future products. I started my YT channel (ibistechreviewer) with reviews of Logitech products. I could probably talk all day about Logitech mice and keyboards. Had them since the old square logo.

I have exactly the same issue, click's are triggered before releasing the left mouse button. i filed a RMA at logitech. The left mouseup shouldn't be triggered before you can hear the click sound.

    Hi, same problem here.

I made a support-ticket at logitech (german support) at 13th Nov., but they still don't answer.

I have exactly the same problem with a Anywhare MX mouse.

I think it must be a construction failure becaus so many people have the same problem.

    Hi Guys,

For those who filed warranty assistance have you tried sending another follow up email or creating a new ticket?

    Regards,

    Frank

    Hi,

    no i didn't.

I filed only one warranty assistance and waited 2 weeks before calling the hotline.

The german hotline checked the warranty ticket and said that the issue will be checked and they would send me an email in the next few days.

Hopefully it will be managed before 2018.

I called the hotline since nothing happened at the online support for about a week. They sent me a email afterwards for filing a warranty claim.

They told me the warranty claim should take a week to process - including sending me a replacement. I am waiting for now, a little thrilled.

The click function is kind of one of the two available key features of a mouse, besides moving. Since there are some people reporting the problem for now, i am asking myself how a faulty click switch could have been selected for such a high quality product.

I hadn't thought it would be a problem to buy a mouse and mousepad directly at Logitech, but next time I will buy these things at Amazon and have a new mouse within 2 days and not 3 weeks or longer (didn't get a delivery confirmation until now).

After some back and forth with Logitech Support, which was not a bad experience, they are now sending me a new product. Hopefully that one is a good one. At the pricepoint of the G903 I expect nothing other than perfection.

Fingers crossed for the next one.

Same here, I received the replacement today. Microswitch is fine, tested selecting and dragging stuff around without any non intentional clicks in between.

Support was ok, but without calling them directly twice nothing would have happened till now.

I've got the same problem. Made a warranty ticket and got a list of pointless software checks, including testing it on another PC, like I have another PC just sitting there built to test mice on... I told them the problem was intermittent and they just stopped responding, no RMA, no response, nothing.

I've been using logitech mice since 2002 and this is the first time I've had to RMA. If I'd had this experience in 2002 I'd never have bought another logitech product.

    Logitech support s.u.c.k.s. hard.

Had same issue, albeit allready out of warranty. I already had this on my second logitec mouse. The first one I just dropt in the waste, but this is getting to expensive now, to change the mouse every three years or so. To me that looks like it ment to break at that time. I am using mice since 30+ years and never had a problem with any other ones. I have 20+ odd Logitec products but this product strategy stinks.

"For those who filed warranty assistance have you tried sending another follow up email or creating a new ticket?"

@Logi_Frank Yes I've tried, no answer in both tickets (2017-12-02 / 2017-12-15) at this point... well I hope I can get an answer next year.

Next time I will just buy some cheap-*** mouse, they will probably last longer than the newer Logitech products and If their micro switch actually fails, well, at least I wont feel that bad for throwing them away.

It's THIRD G302 that, with less than a year of use, becomes completely unusable because of a faulty micro switch on the LMB.

I don't think you guys understand how frustrating it is to get 2 replacements for the same model (G302) and all of them have the EXACTLY SAME problem as the original mouse you bought.

At this point I don't even care about the price tag, just send me an used/old mouse that is not the G302, as long as it does NOT come with the same switch you guys put in the **** G302 it's all good.

Yes there delivery leaves much to want. I have always bought from Logitech for the reason if you have a problem they take care of if but when air delivery takes 2 weeks they must be using a old bush plane.

Just leaving my thoughts here since I'm experiencing the exact same thing.

I opened a support ticket on Jan 2nd, 2018. I got my first response on Jan 7th after bumping the ticket twice. They asked me to do the same old routine: "Try on another computer" and the like. I replied on Jan 8th, and I still haven't heard back yet.

I guess the only way to get a resolution is to call them directly. I will try to find time tomorrow during business hours.

**Edit 1/15: got an email from support today asking for the correct S/N as the one I gave them was from the product box, and not the one on the mouse. Okay that's my bad... but it took over 2 weeks for that. They also asked for my shipping information. They said once they receive the information they will assess the warranty claim. I guess that doesn't exactly mean I'm getting this RMA'd just yet... it's really taking a long time, and amazon will only let me return the product before Jan 31... so unless this happens sooner than that, i'm just sending back to amazon.

**Edit 1/25: I received my warranty replacement today. Wow! This feels like a totally different model of mouse. The buttons feel WAY different (MUCH better!) and the double click register issue is no longer there.

In the end, it took a while to communicate with their support at the start... waiting several days between responses. Once they acknowledged the problem and issued the warranty, I got the product in about a week (shipped to Ontario Canada) and I'm satisfied.

I just started having this same problem and just opened a ticket. Will let you know how that goes. I may end up calling support if I don't hear back within a reasonable amount of time.

I contacted support as i have the left click issue, i have finally got a reply telling me to do some pointless tests that i had already done myself before submitting a warrenty claim.

The mouse is defective,, the micro switches are obviously poor quality components, which you would not expect in a premium product.

Yeah, I submitted a warranty request three days ago but haven't heard anything. I tried all of the advice for repairing it. I am pretty sure it is a software glitch in their often awful and buggy LGS. I noticed that the mouse seemed much smoother and responsive when I closed LGS but then you lose a lot of the other features.

If you read a few comments up, I received a replacement G903 about 2 weeks ago. It has been working perfectly....... UNTIL TODAY. The same issue JUST STARTED.

The original mouse I bought, I noticed the problem immediately... but this one absolutely didn't have the issue until today. I've used the mouse for about 8-12 hours each day, so I would have noticed as soon as it started happening.

Not sure what my options are at this point.... open another warranty claim?

The click issue actually gets worse over time, this sort of explains why I tested it when I first received it, and it worked nicely.

I opened another warranty claim because it has gotten so bad... will come back when I have an update.
