Your customer support today replied me that there IS NOT and there WILL BE NOT HomeKit Secure Video support for Circle 2.

Are you really kidding us? This is a completely fraud.

HomeKit Secure Video will be supported on the Circle 2 wired cameras later this year. The response @xazac received via customer support was incorrect.

Now that iOS 13.2 has been shipped and HomeKit Secure Video is released, when will the Circle 2 firmware release supporting this functionality be available?

Any updates here? I also wrote you on Facebook two days ago - no answer yet. I purchased your products ONLY to use with Apple Secure Video and now it's supported by Apple but you guys are not supporting it? (yet?)

I agree! What is the time frame when Circle 2 will support HomeKit Secure Video? I was under the impression when apple announced Logitech to be one of few companies at launch to support HomeKit Secure Video that it will be available when apple released the update for IOS devices for HomeKit Secure Video.

I finally got an answer from Logitech, but it seems its a pretty generic answer, and I guess the support person did not check anything with the devs regarding the release of new firmware, nor did the person read my question carefully.

"Logitech and Apple are currently coordinating to make the Apple HomeKit Secure Video available in the future.
As of now we don't have time frame as to when will this feature be completed. But no worries, because this feature will be announce once it will be available.

Here's an the latest official statement from one of our product developers:
"HomeKit Secure Video will be supported on the Circle 2 wired cameras later this year."

I call this bullcrap. Logitech and Apple are not currently coordinating anyting. Apple already has released Secure Video with iOS 13.2, now its up to Logitech to fullfill their promise to us.

Does anyone know what cameras currently support home kit secure as of now? I’m guessing none... anyone from Logi I’d love to beta test if available?!

They are not being very transparent. As soon as the 12.2 came out I looked at their FAQ and they had instructions on how to enable HomeKit Secure Video. It showed how to go into the Circle App and you could tap into "Smart Home Integration" and then enable HomeKit Secure Video. It said it was in beta and had instruction on how to revert back after if you wanted to use the Circle App in the future. I wasn't home at the time so I wasn't able to do it, as I didn't have the camera even added to the Circle App. I was excited and when I got home, it wasn't an option. I check the FAQ again, and it was removed.

Sounds promising then - obviously someone jumped the gun on releasing the FAQ, but at least it confirms support is coming. It's a shame Logi don't run a public beta...

This is too bad. I ordered the camera because of the Secure Video option, only to find out it is not supported yet. I hope they will support it anytime soon otherwise I will have to return it, even though it is not an bad camera at all. Just hate to pay extra for cloud storage.

I purchased 4 of these Circle 2 cameras primarily for their compatibility with Apple Homekit.  Logitech, I'm very much looking forward to the secure video firmware update from your side.  Thanks.

Same here bought the circle 2 just only for this reason.... But not sure if I believe the update needs to come from Logitech. Also feels like what i do see in the homekit app is quite basic and is also missing features.

Either way, hope to get an update very soon!

Unfortunately I've been burned before on promised features. I spent over $3,000.00 at BOSE on SoundTouch products that were announced to get AirPlay 2 functionality. Fast forward 3 years, I'm still waiting. Logitech, I really hope you can give us some peace of mind with a date.

The option to convert it to HomeKit Secure Video is not available in the app on my phone. I have checked and there is no new version of the app yet. So, it looks like it's still not quite ready.

You need version 3.4.5 of the iOS App, give the Apple app store a few hours at most to show the update as available.

Awesome that it’s now available! I too was looking to enable it earlier before it was known that specific app version was needed. Waiting (im)patiently for the app update to arrive 😄

4 hours later and still no update in the App Store.

Yeah! Still can’t do this.. not sure why Logi would release instructions for something that wasn’t even available.
