    Hi there, thanks for reaching out to Logitech. We apologize for delay in response. Kindly uninstall the software, restart the PC and re-install the latest version of Logitech capture, link provided below. Set everything to default and then try to change the settings if needed.

    I experienced a similar issue today trying to install Capture 1.10.110 on Windows 10 v1909. Got an error message saying "Error downloading encoder dll."

    I got this error the 1st 2 times I tried running the installer after opting out of analytics gathering. The 3rd time I opted in and it downloaded and installed just fine. Go figure.

    FWIW you can disable the analytics in the settings after installation.

    I am experiencing exactly the same issue as Göran Seifert. Restarting, uninstalling etc. was of no use. Windows 10, also tried disabling anti-virus software but that didn't work. We tried this on several PCs at my workplace and all had the same issue.

    What port/address is the Logitech Capture installer trying to access when it throws this error? Can you please tell us so that maybe we can see if our firewall blocks it @Balaji P?

    Here's an idea: since Logitech won't fix this issue, everyone who can stand it file for a warranty replacement. If they refuse, get the refund from your credit card company, who will then ping the retailer you bought it from or Logitech themselves. That should wake them up to the problem.

     

    If they keep feeding us trash on here then we'll take it to them via other means. Let's go.

    I totally agree with Judah Richardson.  Logitech does not even answer to our complaint! And there are so many other webcam brands!!!..

    I could not have this problem solved, after trying all type of solutions presented to me, by Logitech included.

    So I have returned the Logitech webcam to the seller and obtained the refund.

    Finally, with the last update (2.04.13), and saying "no " to analytics allowed me to install the driver.
