If we want this fixed make a youtube video highlighting the flaw in this products design and post it here. Then we can upvote it.

There are many influencer videos out there and not one highlights this basic design issue. Also comment on those particular videos so people don't fall into the same trap.

Just bought the MX keys and MX Master 3, really disappointed this isn't a feature! I did so much research on how it worked, but not on this feature because it seemed painfully obvious that this would work this way??!! I can not believe this doesn't work. Also for some reason my Master 3 only pairs my unifier with port 3, while the keys is paired with port 2 for the same system... It makes NO SENSE!!!
So disappointed, this should be the first feature, come on...

The following link proves software can change what channel/device the keyboard or mouse is on.
    https://github.com/Logitech/logi_craft_sdk/issues/28

So it's not a driver issue, just an issue of Logitech introducing this feature.
On another thread a Logitech rep said their was an issue with Bluetooth compatibility so they can't implement without a hardware change.
Fine by me Logitech, I'll buy additional unify receivers over Bluetooth anyway.

This would be great as flow can't be installed on a computer where yout not admin ...

This is a MUST HAVE feature

It doesn't seem like a ton of work to implement that. Logi throw us a bone. Your products are near perfect, just implement that one feature.

And I'd like to stress out that this is not a "special feature" request : this is what Logitech advertise its product to do, and this is the most basic behavior any customer would expect, even without the false advertising !!!

When you use Flow, you can switch both the mouse and the keyboard from one computer to another, and the "Easy Switch" device LEDs change according to the device you are on. So a simple software change can do that, there is no hardware issue whatsoever !

I too would like this feature.
Currently, switching between my home PC (on home internet) and work PC (on LTE connection) is a chore.
I've actually resorted to using 2 mice for now (my old mouse on the secondary PC).

Very surprised to discover this isn't part of the core functionality having just purchased both MX keys and MX Master 3.  Seems an obvious feature to implement - https://twitter.com/LondonBryan/status/1382745964394516482

Balaji P any feedback on this? This advertised feature is one of the main reasons why I purchased the mx keys + mouse combo, and I would like to know where I should return $300 worth of product.

+1. I also can't install Flow on all my devices. The device buttons on the MX Keys keyboard are perfect for switching between devices, and it feels awkward to flip over the MX Master mouse to switch. They are both great pieces of hardware but this feels like a missing feature that would enhance the user experience.

We need this feature! I paid extra for the master 3 because I thought it supported this functionality = /

    @LogiLaurie

Its hard to believe that a company with the resources that Logitech has would accept defeat on this.

If there is an option, that software can control the device switch from one PC to another - FLOW - when you reach proper 'trigger' i.e the edge of the screen - software is  changing  hardware channels in both devices, similar situation might be able to recerate when  physicall button is pushed neither in keyboard or mouse,

@Vlad Radoiu ok now I understood, yes that could works, but it depends on how the switch button on the mouse or keyboard work. If the switch change immedialy the radio frequency (as I thought) then the receiver does not even know that the switch was pressed (it only see that the device is not connected, maybe it has been turn off), and the problem remains. We could not know how logitech had implemented this and if they never could make a similar feature, for now at least no unfortunately.

I can confirm that the Logitech Keyboard notifies the device it's leaving before changing "Frequency".
This also is in agreement with my statement:
    https://github.com/Logitech/logi_craft_sdk/issues/28

So now we have the trigger and the solution, we just need it put together, as apparently Logitech are not interested.

I cannot see a "Practical, technical or even feasible" reason why this has not been resolved by Logitech, if I did, I wouldn't be here.

Logi_E logig Logitech A technical answer more in depth than a customer rep saying "Not possible" might help, or as we suspect the correct person will read and resolve our/your issue.

Flow is fine for Mac/PC but doesn't work if one of the devices is an ipad.

Flipping the mouse upside-down really interrupts any kind of user experience.  Can understand getting flow working on iOS may not even be possible but being able to remap the two side buttons to next device / previous device would be a great workaround that isn't jarring.

There doesn't currently seem to be a decent user experience for Mac + iPad + mxkeys + mxmaster which really negates the value of this setup.  I would have been better off buying a jelly comb keyboard and generic bluetooth mouse - would have had an equal experience for under half the price.

I hope Logitech hears the customers, and it would be nice to have an update from this feature request. Is it going to be in their plans (for example)? I hope, if they work on this, the solution also includes Linux.

Also happy to see people trying to find solutions.

Flow it is not an options since I use the same monitor for both computers. I do not use them at the same time. Switching both mouse and keyboard with a single press on the keyboard is essential feature.

    Logitech, please implement it

"as it is not easy to implement" - Guys come on! You can say that it is not simple to send a man to the moon, but not switching the mouse connection from one computer to the other!

You are Logitech! Just go ahead proof that that you are still the best PC accessories company!

Thank you! this is what I'm sure many of us have wanted all along; confirmation that the issue is being addressed and regular updates until it is resolved.

I started this topic, great to see so many people agree with my idea.

Overthinking this last evening and what would make it even better is if the buttons could not only switch mouse and keyboard, but if they also could send a HDMI switch commando to the monitor(s) switching their input automatically too! I tried this with a small script and it's only one line of code to switch a HDMI input so should also be really easy to add!

Whilst working on the request, why not add this too?
