To use the USB Dongle is an workaround but not the solution to solve the problem between Airpods, Logitech MX3 mouse and macbook in combination with bluetooth.
A big request to you logitech support, please solve the problem and thank you in advance.

Any news from Logitech teams? It's been 3 months already since the first time Logi Support said the team is working on it, reviewing the issue that seems to work only if we get rid of the Logitech peripherals or buy a USB Dongle, which does not come with new devices. Sad cause I really like the products, but in remote work, Airpods are more relevant than keeping Logitech devices, since Apple's peripherals do not present this issue and are pretty much the same cost.

    Hi All,

We recommend to update the following to the latest:

    • macOS
      Zoom App
      Microsoft Teams App
      Firmware if it is available

The lag should be auto recovered in 20 seconds or when you disconnects the AirPods

We noticed that the behavior has been improved when updating to the macOS 12.3.1, but the issue persists and intermediate.

    Regards,
    Pooja

    Pooja,

Really disappointing answer, so basically nothing is being done to resolve this issue so many people are facing. It's been several months, we've all been waiting for a solution...

To everyone having this issue, leave reviews about the issue, on where ever you made you MX Keys/Mouse purchase, so that others are aware and avoid making the mistake we made. It may also mean Logi take this issue more seriously.

Hi thanks for the update! So will the engineers continue to debug the issue? Was the root cause found? Are you going to invest time in finding the root cause? Should we return our product?

Hi Logitech, any updates on this issue? As I do most meetings on my AirPods and I believe lot of apple users do, we are Unable to use AirPods along with Logitech mouse. Do you guys identify this issue and in process of getting a firmware update ? If not, can we get a refund for our mouse and keyboard?

Same issue here - Using AirPod Pros and Mx 2s via bluetooth creates a robotic sound from the microphone.  Glad to know I'm not alone, but sad to see that Logitech isn't really doing anything to fix the issue.  And, while I would appreciate a response - if it's a recommendation to update or reset my system, please know that I've already done all of the standard steps.  This solution lives with a firmware update from Logitech - and that's what I'm expecting.

Same issue here! I've scoured forums all over the web and this seems to be a wide spread issue. I'm very disappointed that the only support advice being given is to reset and upgrade to latest firmware. Clearly this a problem requiring a firmware patch. When is that coming! Come on Logitech. Love the product, but this is killing my workflow!

If it’s helpful - I’ve been playing around with the issue and I’ve found that it triggers with screen sharing and the camera. When I turn the mouse off and back on - the robotic voice disappears - however it returns every time I turn on my camera or share my screen.

So after switching my MX Master 3 over to the unify dongle, the problem went away for a few days. Now that I'm back at my desk with MX Master Keys, it's back! This is incredibly frustrating. I might have to look into replacing my setup with something else if Logitech can't figure this out, or at the very least acknowledge that it's a problem for mac users.

Bump, I'm experiencing a similar issue issue with the MX Master 3s with my Macbook Pro 2019.

The interference occurs when I use my MX Master 3s with both the Bolt dongle and with Bluetooth direct connection.

Once I turned off the mouse, the problem went away.

Is this something that can be fixed? If not I would like to return my mouse.

I doubt Logitech really care about their products once people brought it. Only reply their support team giving is “ Please check our official Logitech page and subscribe to our newsletter to receive notifications on any updates.“

Having this problem with my MX Master 3 with my 2021 Macbook Pro M1 Pro, running the latest macOS (12.4), AirPods Pro with the latest firmware, the mouse is on the latest firmware and I've tried resetting it.

    To add to this:

    • Return your product if you still can, it’s been an issue for over a year
    • Additionally, no change with os updates, Logitech software updates (or the beta update), nor with firmware updates.
    • It seems to be a Bluetooth spec conflict that would need either Apple and/or Logitech to fix
    • It’s worse if you use more than one Logitech device (without the unifying receiver)
    • Some people will see relief with a unifying receiver, but it tends to come back
    • Removing all devices and adding them back doesn’t change the situation
    • It impacts other non-Apple audio devices over Bluetooth
    • It impacts other non-Apple audio devices over 2.4 GHz (with dongles)
    • Problem exists on 2019, 2020, and 2021 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops (mix of Intel and M1)
    • All versions of Mojave
    • Does not impact any computer we have where the user has other branded keyboards and/or mice. Only the computers using Logitech wireless devices.

To make the problem instantly go away? Turning off Logitech devices and removing them from your Bluetooth devices. Headphones work as expected right after. All special “Switching” features, and AirPlay features work as well.

I want to love my MX devices, but they are no longer usable. We returned all products our office bought (that we could) and won’t replace them with other Logitech devices.
