Fixed scroll wheel mode only becomes active when the following two conditions are met:
  1. No button has been assigned to the Mode shift button task.

  2. SmartShift is disabled.

    Smartshift disabled

When these two conditions are met, Logitech Options Software can control scroll wheel mode. 

NOTE: The text below the Fixed scroll wheel mode heading lets you know whether fixed scroll wheel mode is active or not.

Fixed scroll wheel


To activate fixed scroll wheel mode:
  1. Select Disabled from the SmartShift pull-down menu.
  2. On the Mouse tab, click the highlighted mode shift button and select an action other than mode shift.
NOTE: Remember, you can fix the scroll wheel mode only if SmartShift is disabled and mode shift is not assigned to any MX Master buttons.
