User Forums Terms of Use

Like many of Logitech's members, you may be seeking information from colleagues that will increase your efficiency, help you find answers to problems you're having, heighten your knowledge, support innovative uses of the products, and impact your bottom line.

What binds diverse members into a large community is a set of shared core values. We'd like to make sure your experience in Logitech's community is a pleasant and productive one. Please take a moment to read these guidelines for participating in our community.

1. Welcome the diverse opinions of other members. We believe that diversity strengthens a community, and a strong community is the best kind. We encourage discussions, debates and even arguments, but please share your thoughts politely and constructively. Content that is abusive, vulgar, racist, slanderous, harassing, misleading, or otherwise objectionable will not be tolerated and will be removed. Any form of direct or indirect personal attack or harassment is unacceptable behavior and is not tolerated. Any comment that calls for unlawful or illegal behavior or might result in harm to others is not allowed.

2. Pay attention to the tone you use when you post information in Logitech's discussions. Please keep in mind that other members can't see your facial expressions or hear the tone of your voice. It's easy for sarcastic comments intended as harmless jokes to be mistaken for harsh, purposeful criticism. While we strongly encourage open debates, we want to make sure that they take place in a climate of mutual respect.

3. Logitech offers an unparalleled opportunity for communication and information sharing among a variety of participants. Members shall be solely responsible for ensuring that they do not act in any manner which constitutes, or forms a part of a course of conduct amounting to, a violation of any state, federal or other applicable competition law.

4. Take responsibility for what you say. You are responsible for the content of any messages you post in our community. We encourage you to use your real name and professional affiliation when you participate in the community. Whether you're networking online or in real life, you'll want to know whom you're meeting.

5. Stay on-topic. The moderators will remove any comments that stray from the subject at hand, including unsolicited ads and promotions.

6. You are not allowed to post or transmit any message, data image or program that would violate the property rights of others, including unauthorized copyrighted text, images or programs, trade secrets or other confidential proprietary information, and trademarks or service marks used in an infringing fashion.

7. Logitech reserves the right to reprint, modify, distribute, or delete your posting. We do not preview or edit postings before they appear on our site, but we do reserve the right to remove them if they violate these guidelines.

8. Community site areas are not to be used for commercial purposes unless sanctioned by the group administrator of the community.

9. We hope our site provides you with a wealth of information from fellow community members. However, don't take everything we say, or everything other community members say, as gospel. Message board postings do not necessarily represent the professional advice or opinions of our staff. The results of any actions you take based on the advice you find in our community are your responsibility alone.

DISCUSSION FORUM RULES
You are entirely responsible and liable for all activities conducted by you. Listed below are some, though not all, violations that may result in Logitech terminating your access. You agree not to do any of the following actions while using Logitech discussion forums:

(1) Harass, threaten, embarrass, or cause distress or discomfort upon another Logitech discussion forums' participant, user, or other individual or entity;

(2) Transmit via Logitech discussion forums' any information, data, text, files, links, software, chat, communication or other materials ("Content") that Logitech considers to be unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;

(3) Impersonate in Logitech discussion forum any person, including but not limited to, a Logitech official, discussion forum leader, guide, or host;

(4) Disrupt the normal flow of dialogue in a Logitech discussion forum or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other participants;

(5) Post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation in Logitech discussion forums;

(6) Intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, including but not limited to any regulations having the force of law while using or accessing Logitech discussion forums or in connection with your use of Logitech discussion forums in any manner;

(7) Post content relating to current, future or proposed lawsuits against Logitech.

(8) Invade the privacy or violate any personal or proprietary right of any person or entity; and

(9) Infringe the intellectual property rights or similar rights, including but not limited to copyrights and trademarks, of any person or entity.

CONTENT
You and any user of your User Name must evaluate, and bear the risk associated with, the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any Content. Logitech shall have the right, but not the responsibility, to remove Content that is deemed in Logitech's sole discretion harmful, offensive, or otherwise in violation of this Agreement or any rules Logitech has in place at the time. Logitech may elect at its sole discretion to monitor some, all, or no areas of Logitech discussion forums for adherence to this Agreement or Logitech's rules.

TRADEMARKS, COPYRIGHTS, & RESTRICTIONS
All materials on this site, including, but not limited to, images, illustrations, posts, audio clips, video clips (the "Materials") are protected by copyrights that are owned or licensed by the Company. Logitech is a trademark of the Company. You may not reproduce, perform, create derivative works from, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute in any way whatsoever any Materials from www.logitech.com or any other web site owned or operated by the Company without the prior written permission of the Company. However, you may download or make one copy of the Materials, and other downloadable items displayed on the site, for personal, non-commercial home use only, provided all copyright and other notices contained in the Materials are left intact. Any modification of the Materials, or any portion thereof, or use of the Materials for any other purpose constitutes an infringement of the Company's copyrights and other proprietary rights. In the event that you are unsatisfied with the services provided by Company, your sole remedy is to terminate this Agreement.

JURISDICTION:
This site is controlled and operated by the Company from the Company's headquarters. The Company does not represent or warrant that Materials on the site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. If you choose to access this site from other locations, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with any and all local laws.
