If your G933 mic stops working, it may be due to the following:
- Mic mute button is enabled
- Sound settings need to be corrected
- Mic volume level is very low
- Bent/snapped microphone wire
- Turn the headset off and back on. Then test the mic again.
- Restart LGS/G HUB:
- From the system tray, locate the LGS/G HUB icon.
- Right-click on the icon and then click Exit.
- Launch LGS/G HUB.
- Check mute settings:
Make sure the red mute LED is off and the application in use is not muted. - Keep other electrical wireless devices away from the USB receiver to avoid interference.
- Check the Windows Sound settings:
- Right-click on the volume icon from the system tray, in the lower right corner.
- Click Recording devices.
- Make sure the G933 microphone is selected as the Default Communication Device.
- Highlight the mic then click the Properties button.
- On the Levels tab, make sure the gain is at least 50% (recommended is 100%).
- On the Listen tab, check Listen to this device.
- Test the mic:
- Right-click on the volume icon from the system tray, in the lower right corner.
- Click Recording devices.
- Highlight the headset mic then click Configure.
- Select Set up microphone, then Headset Microphone and click Next.
- Read the sample phrase and adjust the mic volume.
