Hissing and buzzing from your speakers is usually an electrical issue. However, there are some steps you can take to reduce hissing and/or buzzing:
-
Check your audio source. Hissing or buzzing may be emanating from the audio source, so try changing your audio source (from TV to CD player, for example).
-
Check your audio settings. If you have your volume, turned up too high, you may hear hissing or buzzing.
-
If there are any sources of intereference such as other audio devices near your speakers, move them away from the speakers, as close proximity may produce hissing and buzzing.
