There are several possible reasons why your device is not responding to commands from your Harmony remote. Check the following:
- Ensure that you have selected an Activity that uses the device, or selected the device on the Devices page of the remote. The Harmony remote won't send commands until you select a device or start an Activity.
- Confirm that the manufacturer and model number you selected for your device is correct. From My Harmony, click the Devices tab, click the related device, and confirm that the manufacturer and model number listed is correct.
- Ensure that your Harmony remote has all of the latest settings from your Harmony account. To do this, go to My Harmony and click Sync to update your remote.
- Ensure that your device is plugged into a power source.
- Confirm that your remote has fresh batteries.
If most of the buttons on the remote are controlling the device correctly, you can fix commands that aren't working properly. From My Harmony, click the Buttons tab then follow the online instructions for fixing a button.
