You do not need Capture installed in order to use your webcam for video conferencing. Our webcams are USB Video Class (UVC) devices and driver support is built into Microsoft Windows 10 and macOS.
Capture makes it easy to record high-quality video content and to share your passion with the world.
Capture is only compatible with specific webcams and operating systems, and it does have higher system requirements if you want to record in 1080p at high FPS.

- BRIO 4K Pro or BRIO Stream must be directly connected to a USB 3.x port.
- StreamCam must be directly connected to a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C or higher port.
