This issue is most likely configuration related. Check the mouse button and program settings in Logitech's Mouse and Keyboard software (SetPoint).

Open SetPoint (Start > Programs > Logitech > Mouse and Keyboards > Mouse and Keyboard Settings).

Click on the My Mouse tab on the top of the SetPoint window.

Click on the Mouse Button Settings icon on the left side of the SetPoint window.

Select VX Revolution from the Select Mouse drop-down menu.

Select the program that the button is not working on in the Select Program area.

Click on a button that needs verification in the Select Button area.

Verify the task intended for that button in the Select Task area.

Click OK when you are done.
