For WiLife™ Indoor Camera please follow these steps:
- Take the Ethernet cable and insert one end into the Camera and the other to the power supply unit.
- Plug the camera power supply into a power outlet.
- Place the Indoor camera in the desired location.
- In the WiLife software, click the Setup button. The Setup dialog displays.
- Click on the Advanced tab. The Advanced tab screen displays.
- Click on the Find My Camera or Add New button . The system will search for the new camera and add it to your system automatically. (This may take 1-2 minutes)
For WiLife Outdoor and Spy Cameras please follow these steps:
- Plug the camera power cord into a power outlet.
- Place the camera in the desired location.
- In the WiLife software, click the Setup button. The Setup dialog displays.
- Click on the Advanced tab. The Advanced tab screen displays.
- Click on the Find My Camera or Add New button. The system will search for the new camera and add it to your system automatically. (This may take 1-2 minutes)
- Try various outlets if cameras is not discovered in the first location. Homeplug performance will vary across electrical outlets.
If after a few minutes, WiLife application does not recognize the camera, turn to the Installation Problems section located in the online user guide (Press F1).
NOTE: We recommend that you set a custom password because a custom camera password provides you with security from others having access to your streaming video.
