Customizing LCD buttons in activities

1. Launch the Harmony Remote Software and log in to your account.

2. Click the Customize Buttons icon for the activity you want to customize.

3. Click the Additional Buttons tab at the top of the page.

4. In the Label column, select the button you want to customize, from 1 to 6 for each page.

5. Type the name of your command in the text box.

6. Select the device you want to send the command to from the Device column.

7. Select the command you want from the drop-down list in the Command column.

   You can:

   • Delete a command by clicking the trash can icon next to it.

   • Move commands to different button positions by using the up and down arrows on the screen.

8. Click Done to save the button customizations.

9. Connect your Harmony remote to your computer and then click Update Remote.

NOTE: Button customization is specific to the activity you're modifying. You'll need to repeat it for any other activities that you want to have the same customization.

Customizing LCD buttons for devices

1. Launch the Harmony Remote Software and log in to your account.

2. Click the Devices tab.

3. Click the Settings button next to the device you want to customize.

4. Select Customize Buttons, and then click Next on the Device Options page.

5. Click the Additional Buttons tab at the top of the page.

   NOTE: On the Additional Buttons page, you can create custom labeled buttons that will display on the LCD screen of the remote.

6. In the Label column, select the button you want to customize, from 1 to 6 for each page.

7. Type in the name you want to appear in the LCD for the command.

8. Select the command you want to send from the drop-down list in the Command column.

   You can:

   • Delete a command by clicking the trash can icon next to it.

   • Move commands to different button positions by using the up and down arrows on the screen.

9. Click Done to save your customizations.

10. Connect your Harmony remote to your computer and then click Update Remote.

If you aren't able to find a command that you want to customize on your LCD, it's most likely a "missing" command. To use that command, add it (see answer 360023412173) and then repeat the instructions above.
