This is usually because any amplified speaker is susceptible to RF interference. Since the cables usually pick up the RF interference, you should try to keep your cable runs as short as possible. This means coiling up any excess cable and securing the loops with twist ties or zip strips. This is especially important for the input cable from the computer to the speakers. If that doesn't help, you can try using ferrite beads on the cables to dampen any RF interference. Ferrite beads are available at most electronic stores such as Radio Shack. Also, reorienting the speakers and pointing the cabinet a different direction can help.
