To use the advanced Spotlight highlight effects you need to install the Logi Options+ App. But even without installing Options+, your Spotlight will be able to move the cursor. This basic functionality is plug-and-play: You can move the cursor and click on links or videos. If you want the cursor to be more visible, you can go into your system preferences and change the pointer size.
To change the pointer size:
- Mac: System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Adjust cursor size
- Windows 10 : Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Mouse > Pointer size
- Windows 11: Start > Settings > Accessibility > Mouse pointer and touch > Pointer size
