If your G933 produces static noise, feedback, or crackling when you move or use the mic, it may be due to the following:
- Battery charge level is low/empty. Power draw exceeds power supplied.
- Environmental/connection interference
- Wireless noise
- Headset volume level is very low
- The USB receiver is not connecting with headset
- Firmware needs to be updated
- Charge the headset.
- Make sure the headset battery has been charged to at least 3% or higher.
- Improve connection stability and wireless environment — improve the line of sight between the headset and Wireless Mix adapter:
- Move from the ports on the back of the PC case to the ports on the front
- Do not use the headset close to a microwave.
- LAN events may have extreme wireless noise.
- Perform a hardware reset.
- Re-pair the headset and Wireless Mix Adapter:
- Insert a pin into the reset port on the adapter to initiate the pairing mode. The LED on the adapter will begin to blink to indicate pairing mode.
- Once the LED begins blinking, remove the pin from the reset port on the adapter.
- Hold the Microphone Mute button for 15 seconds.
- The G logo turns to a solid color and then returns to your selected lighting when pairing is complete.
- Make sure you have the latest firmware for your G933:
- Launch LGS.
- Click the Settings icon. (The gear icon in the lower right corner.)
- Click the G933 tab.
- The Firmware version should be indicated. It also indicates if it is up to date and the last time an update was checked for.
- If a firmware update is needed, the Update button will not be grayed out.
