Most Bose systems are capable of being controlled by both Infrared (IR) and Radio Frequency (RF) signals. See Knowledge Base article 360023394333for a list of Bose receivers that are compatible with the Harmony remote.
By default, most Bose systems are set to accept RF. They can be fully controlled by your Harmony remote when set to receive IR signals.
To set your Bose system to accept IR signals:
On the Bose remote control, press System.
On the System menu, press the Right arrow to move across the categories to Remote Control, and then press the Down arrow or Enter to open the Remote Control menu.
Scroll down to the IR Control menu item.
Select IR Control On.
See your Bose user manual to confirm these steps.
Important Notice: The Presentation software is no longer supported or maintained by Logitech. Logitech Presentation devices are now supported by Logi Options+ for a better experience. We highly recommend using Logi Options+ with your presentation remotes. We are here to assist you during this transition.
