The function of the RESET button on your Logitech AV Stand depends on how the stand is being used when it is pressed.

When listening to audio using a docked device, the volume will be reset to the default level.

When listening to audio using the auxiliary input, the input will be reset to dock and the volume will be reset to the default level.

When using the video output, the video will be reset to use the iPad display and the volume will be reset to the default level.
NOTE: When the RESET button is pressed, the stand will power off. Turn the stand back on for the changes to take place.
To reset the stand, use a pen or paper clip to press and release the RESET button
NOTE: You don't need to hold the RESET button down for the stand to reset.
