Please note: Installing this product requires competency and access to power tools and comfort with electric power.
Make sure that you have followed all the instructions in the setup guide and do not see any status LEDs illuminated on the main unit or the Chime Kit. Please review the following scenarios and the associated troubleshooting steps.
- Start by checking the home's main electrical panel and turn on the appropriate circuit breaker if necessary.

The unit may not be seated correctly in the mount.
Remove the main unit from the mount as shown below:
Snap the unit back into the mount. Start by inserting the bottom first, then follow with the top as shown:
Tip: You will know the unit is secure in the mount when you hear two clicks (top and bottom) and the unit cannot be removed from the mount by hand.
Once complete, you should see the device powered on and the status LED illuminate. -
The Chime Kit may not be wired correctly.
Review Setup Guide section 5 to confirm you have wired the Chime Kit correctly and in accordance with the instructions.
Ensure that the input wires are connected to terminals 2 and 3 of the Chime Kit correctly.
You can also try swapping the wires attached to terminals 2 and 3 to see if this solves the problem — some doorbell wiring systems may have these wires swapped.
