Fuzzy, grainy, or noisy image:
Increase the lighting. Cameras need light to produce great images. Improving the lighting conditions can considerably improve the image quality. This will also improve on the blur or fuzziness seen during quick movements.
Blurry image:
If your camera has manual focus, adjust the focus ring located around the lens of your camera. This will allow you to focus the camera image on objects at different distances.
If your camera has fixed focus, make sure you're sitting at an adequate distance away from the camera.
If your camera has autofocus, the focus is automatically adjusted by the Logitech webcam software.
Internet connection issues:
If the image quality is poor using video-enabled programs such as MSN Messenger, Yahoo Instant Messenger, Skype or AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), check the video quality in your Logitech webcam software. If the image appears clear in the Logitech software, your Internet connection may be responsible for the poor image quality.
The video quality you are receiving over the Internet is directly affected by the image quality of the transmitted video. If you see poor image quality, there may be a slow connection on the other side of the video call. If your contact is experiencing poor image quality, the slow connection may exist on your side of the video call. Corporate networks and DSL/cable modem connections provide the best video call experience. Wireless and dial-up connections may result in choppy and overall poor image quality because of slower Internet connection speed.
Using the latest Logitech webcam software:
